Brett McGinnis is an American film & television Director, reality television personality, artist & entrepreneur.  Brett is best known for his co-starring role on SyFy Channel reality television series Ghost Hunters Academy.  Brett has also made appearances on Travel Channel TV series Ghost Nation.

Additionally, Brett’s hit documentary The Staring Man struck fear into the hearts of viewers across the globe!  He was also recognized locally for his work on The Old Stone House documentary.

Brett has been a part of numerous film, TV and video productions during his career. After graduating film school, he began his career by directing television commercials for Walmart - accumulating over 50 commercial directing credits. In 2015 he was a POV camera operator for Southpaw starring Jake Gyllenhaal.  Working for years within the entertainment and media industry, Brett has also created content for AOL, Zillow, YellowPages, Wiz Khalifa, Penguin Random House Publishing, Scout, 50 Cent, Justin Fabus, JLL + many others.

Today, Brett is the in-house Manager of Video Production for Vitamin and Supplement giant GNC.  In this role, he directs, shoots and edits video content for a multitude of applications including training, social media, marketing, web, science & commercial.
